When setting our prices, clarity was of the utmost importance. It can be very easy for clinicians to be misled when offered a unit price for a single implant restoration from a laboratory. Often labs apply ‘add ons’ which can distort pricing significantly. Mojo Dental moved from this pricing strategy a few years ago to a clear, concise price structure.
Pricing laboratory implant costs can sometimes seem a little complicated. We have tried to simplify it as much as possible with a current price list.
Below are some price examples:
For a bonded to metal implant retained crown, we charge £130.00, regardless of material selection. Therefore a zirconia, all ceramic crown would also be charged at the same price. This price includes the abutment preparation and selection.
We also charge Bridge units and crown units at the same price point of £130.00 per unit. So for example a 3 unit implant retained, zirconia, all ceramic bridge would cost £390.00.
We only offer two add ons which we feel are essential. The first, a soft tissue model priced at £15.00. For us to produce a perfect emergence profile for your implant restoration. The second, a custom made location jig priced at £8.00. This allows a client to lock an abutment down quickly and precisely. Both items are optional extras and the decision remains with the client. For instance some of our clients will feel they do not need a location jig as they become more experienced.
This would bring the total cost to £153.00 including the soft tissue model and the location jig.
A full price list can be accessed directly from the lab.
DON’T FORGET WHEN PRICING TO ADD YOUR CLINICAL COMPONENTS FOR INSTANCE ABUTMENT, FIXTURE, TRANSFER COPING AND HEALING CAP.
Also laboratory sundries:
- Study models – £10.00
- Surgical Stent/ Guide – £40.00
- Diagnostic Wax up – £20.00 per unit
- Temporary Crown – Cement retained – £60.00
- Screw retained – Temporary Crown – £80.00
- Verification Jig (Verification jigs are constructed in pre-stressed duraly) – £25.00
Mojo offer a CadCam customised abutment at £99.00. This is also useful for consolidating component costs with laboratory fees as it would be charged on the same invoice.
WE STRONGLY ADVISE DENTISTS TO OBTAIN QUOTATIONS EITHER VERBALLY OR VIA EMAIL ON LARGER MORE COMPLEX CASES.
